So, what is FriendUP? In a nutshell it is an OS within a browser….. but it is much more than that. You can use this OS on any device - smartphone; laptop; desktop; or tablet. It allows you to get creative any time, any place that you have an internet connection - which means you can work anywhere and have complete access to all your information…from databases to documents to drawings … and anything else you might need.

Having had early access to the system, my first impression of this OS was “it feels so familiar”. It felt, to me like using an Amiga- but with the advantages of today’s technology allowing use of modern applications in an environment that has a fresh feel to it. Whilst “the Amiga feeling” was a big bonus for me… it must be stressed that you don’t need to be an Amiga fan or have to have previous experience with Amiga, to use FriendUp. The system is designed to be clear and easy to use. The user-friendly interface is clean and uncluttered and uncomplicated. I can see a great future for the system… it seems to fill a gap in the market in a way that is simple and straightforward. But don’t take my word for it. It is currently at the beta version 2 stage and the public are encouraged to head over, take a look, and give it go. So why not do just that?
