Amiga CD32 brought back to life

Hello to one and all,

Recently a friend of mine (thanks Gareth) gave me a non working CD32, it would boot up but wouldn't read any discs; my thoughts were that it was a dirty or faulty lens.

But no!!! turns out this CD32 was missing it's upper sheilding, I replaced that and the CD32 is now reading discs like a champ, so a nice easy fix and maybe a very small piece of knowledge that may help another CD32 owner in the future? (well one can hope)
